Overview of our Alarm Monitoring Services
Monitoring your alarm system over a telephone line has never been easier. We have teamed up with Mason Monitoring in New York to provide you with the most flexible alarm monitoring service on the market - at the lowest cost. Our Dealer Number is 0127, so feel free to call Mason Monitoring on 888.627.6610 to verify that youralarm.com (IP Alarms) are a registered Dealer. There is no contract or minimum term. You pay for each month in advance until you decide you no longer want to use our service. We cannot refund unused service.
Requirements
You must have a fully working system and know the installer code to gain access to the installer programming section of your alarm panel. You must be able to carry out any necessary wiring and enter a new phone number and account code into your panel. Your panel must not transmit open/close signals each time your system is armed or disarmed unless you are paying the additional $12 for this facility. This DIY service is targeted at home or business owners that are able to fully maintain their alarm system without any technical assistance.

PayPal subscriptions are an easy way to manage monthly payments. Your monitoring service will commence shortly after we receive confirmation from PayPal that you have started a subscription and it will end as soon as we receive notification that you have cancelled your subscription. The subscription is between you and PayPal and you can cancel it at any time without even notifying us.

Our alarm monitoring is based on service and we feel that you should be free to take your business elsewhere at any time without having to explain why.
We will need your contact details and instructions for handling alarm events. Please download, print, complete, sign, scan and email the form to us at your earliest convenience. DO NOT fax the form direct to Mason Monitoring.
Setup your Alarm System
Make sure your alarm panel is able to communicate using Ademco Contact ID, or if that's not possible, use one of the following formats:

On receipt of your PayPal subscription, we will provide you with a phone number and account code. This process is not automated, so please allow up to 12 hours to receive this information.
Program the receiver phone number.
Program the 4 digit account code into your panel.
Connect your alarm panel into your telephone line.
Phone an operator at Mason Monitoring on 888.627.6610 and confirm that your account is "on test". Arm your system and test each detector and manually operated device. If all signals are received and everything is working to your satisfaction, your system will immediately go live when the operator takes it "off test".
Other things you should know
Although the majority of our Clients use telephone landlines to transmit alarm signals to the alarm receivers at Mason Monitoring, you can also use your VoIP service if you consider it reliable enough. Another option where phone lines are not available, is to use a CellAlarm-GSM device with our own SIM card and call plan.
We often work at weekends and sometimes into the early hours, so don't be surprised if you place an order at 6am or 11pm on a Saturday or Sunday and we have your account setup 10 minutes later. We understand that some people are simply not able to get things done during the working week so we make a special effort to be available as much as we can outside of office hours. We provide phone service for a limited number of hours each day:

If you require a Certificate of Monitoring, we will need to see that your alarm system is communicating correctly before we can issue one. Monitoring Certificates can only be issues for accounts paid on an annual basis.
