The DSC Alexor is our most popular DIY Security System and the one we recommend. The Honeywell Ademco Vista 20p and 21ip are also very common choices for our more technical customers. Both panels come with comprehensive instructions which make installing your own security system a feasible task.

DIY security systems are generally wireless, but this need not be the case and often a hard wired system is the best option. Both have their pro's and con's and the decision is down to personal preference.

All DIY Security systems we sell come with bundled Internet alarm monitoring service through our fully automated Virtual Monitoring Platform. Operator based monitoring is a simple add-on service where you prefer to have a trained operator see any alarm activations through to a suitable conclusion.
