DSC Alexor

The Alexor is DSC's first wireless alarm panel for quite some time and is expected to be one of the most popular alarm panels of the next decade. The Alexor is perfectly suited to communicating with the Virtual Monitoring Platform via its built-in IP Communicator or with a Tl265 IP Communicator

DSC are the security industry leaders for alarm panel and alarm signaling technology, so you are placing your security in good hands. The Alexor builds on the vast experience gained by DSC's presence at the very top of manufacturers for the security industry.

Some models of the Alexor ship complete with a built-in IP communicator which we can monitor for you through our platform. It is also possible to send signals over IP to the Virtual Monitoring server using the built-in PSTN modem and a custom provisioned Linksys VoIP adapter.

If you prefer not to use the built-in IP Communicator or Tl265GS, then simply connect an RJ11 cable from the panel modem to one of our custom provisioned Linksys devices and the Alexor is able to reliably send signals over your broadband Internet to any 3rd party Central Station supporting the Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution.

You will need to program the Alexor to communicate using the Contact ID protocol and you will also need to enter any 4 digit account code and a primary and secondary receiver telephone number. That's all there is to it.

Additionally, you can use the Linksys solution to remotely program your Alexor over broadband Internet. Setup the Alexor Upload/Download section with the relevant data and then enter this data during the Linksys adapter provisioning process. You, or your Alarm Dealer will need a 2nd custom provisioned Linksys device in order to access the Alexor remotely.
