Overview of our Internet Alarm Monitoring Promotion
Our Internet Alarm Monitoring service allows you to use "off the shelf" Linksys VoIP adapters to reliably monitor your security system over the Internet. You purchase the equipment yourself, pay us to download custom settings into your device and then pay month to month for service via a PayPal subscription. That's all there is to it.
Requirements
You must have a fully working system and an alarm panel programmed to use the Contact ID alarm format. You must have the installer code to gain access to the installer programming section of your alarm panel and be able to do all necessary wiring & connections. Only emergency signals are forwarded to Nationwide Digital Monitoring operators. All other signals like arm/disarm or low battery will be processed by our automated Virtual Monitoring platform which is an inclusive part of this service.

Purchase a Cisco/Linksys VoIP Adapter
If you do not have one already, you can purchase a Cisco/Linksys PAP2T, SPA3102, SPA112 or SPA122 VoIP adapter from any consumer electronics store for around $45-50.
Be aware that some VoIP adapters are locked to a VoIP provider and cannot be used with our alarm monitoring service. Although it is possible to have devices unlocked, we strongly advise against using previously locked devices and do not support them.

There is a non-refundable account setup fee which you can pay through PayPal to start the order process. During the payment process, you need to provide us with the MAC address of your VoIP adapter so that we can enter it into our database. We will provide you with login details for our provisioning server and you can follow the instructions in our Installation & Provisioning Guide to download our custom settings into your device. Email the MAC address of your Linksys device if you do not enter it during the PayPal order process. Although we sometimes may be able to process your order immediately, you should allow up to 12 hours for initial setup.

PayPal subscriptions are an easy way to manage monthly payments. Your monitoring service will commence shortly after we receive confirmation from PayPal that you have started a subscription and it will end as soon as we receive notification that you have cancelled your subscription. The subscription is between you and PayPal and you can cancel it at any time without even notifying us. Our operation is based on service and we feel that you should be free to take your business elsewhere at any time.

We have partnered with Nationwide Digital Monitoring in New York for the Internet Alarm Monitoring promotion and they will need your contact details and instructions for handling alarm events. Please download, print, complete, sign, scan and email the form to sales@youralarm.com at your earliest convenience (after we have allocated you a DIGITAL ACCOUNT #). DO NOT fax the form direct to Nationwide Digital - they will not process it.
Instructions for completing the form
Ignore the REPORT/CID CODE column. Ignore the CONDITION column and use it for your zone description. Do not complete any of the OPENING & CLOSING INFORMATION section unless you are paying extra for Open/Close monitoring.
Check the Property Type but DO NOT check any of the OPEN CLOSE or TEST TIMER boxes. Do not enter an email address for reports unless you are paying extra for Open/Close supervision.

Other things you should know
We will provide you with login credentials for web sites and all the necessary technical information you require via email at each stage of the order process.
We often work at weekends and sometimes into the early hours, so don't be surprised if you place an order at 6am or 11pm on a Saturday or Sunday and we have your account setup 10 minutes later. We understand that some people are simply not able to get things done during the working week so we make a special effort to be available as much as we can outside of office hours. We provide phone service for a limited number of hours each day:

If you require a Certificate of Monitoring, we will need to see that your alarm system is communicating correctly before we can issue one. Monitoring Certificates can only be issues for accounts paid on an annual basis.
